Lamentations 3:39-40

“Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.” KJV

Throughout the Bible the word ‘way’ is predominantly used to describe a path of travel that leads us to a place or designation determined by the means of our chosen ‘way’.

God used the word ‘way’ to embody the choices we make to arrive at the place we seek. And in the Book of Job – God asked the so-called wise men who troubled Job,

Job 38:19-20

“Where is the ‘way’ where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof, that thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the path to the house thereof?” KJV

This verse silenced the so-called wise men as they did not know How to walk in the ‘way’ which would deliver them to the light of God. And then further demonstrated their ignorance by asking them the rhetorical question of how is it that they know the way of darkness.

It’s clear that the word ‘way’ and path are interchangeable and that the ‘way’ of darkness we know, but the ‘way’ of light we don‘t.

Bear in mind that this was a question for the Old Testament…in the New Testament there is an answer to the question: “Where is the ‘way’ where light dwelleth?”

The ‘way’ is referred to two different ways, both referring to the same thing. Jesus called the ‘way’ to get to “Him who sent me…” as “MY WAY”. (see John 16:5 KJV)

Clearly marking for us who try to follow in his foot steps, the “Way” to God the Father who sent Jesus, was the Only Way that Jesus used.

We can try “our ways” to God the Father; or The God of Light, or we can try the ‘Way’ that Jesus used.

Hence it wouldn’t be strange to hear that the Apostles taught and followed the “Way” of Jesus. And indeed, we find mention of it in the Book of Acts; where it says: a certain man named Apollos…

“…had been instructed in the Way of the Lord Jesus.” Acts 18:25NIV
And thus proved it to be a teaching for us and for the Apostles when Paul said:

“However I admit that I worship the God of our fathers as a follower of the Way, which they call a sect.” Acts 24:14 NIV

With other verses showing that there is indeed a doctrine teaching called the “Way”, then it shouldn’t be a teaching that has been overlooked in the churches.

And yet it IS overlooked and neglected in the churches. Have you ever heard of it? Other than that “Jesus is: The way, the truth, and the life.” but for doctrine teaching and understanding in the ‘Way’ all we hear is – We believe in Jesus by faith.

Why I could go so far as to say that one (professed) Christian, actually accused me of propagating the teachings of the Pharisees and Sadducees, when all I need to do is just have faith in Jesus.

With no path of understanding and no clear cut instruction given in the churches in the Doctrine of How we walk in the “Way”, JUST BELIEVE IN JESUS BY FAITH is not what most think it is.

This is understandable too! In the book of Isa. 30:20-26 we see that the teachers of the “Way” have been kept hidden until these end-times. Read with me…

“And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: and thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, this is the Way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”KJV

But after all has been said, I ask of you: “what is this Way”?

I don’t expect you to know this ‘Way’, as it is revealed to the teachers to teach; but I do expect you to acknowledge that this ‘Way’ does exist, and as it was taught in the early churches so must it be taught in these End-Time churches.

If you can accept that this ‘Way’ exists, then maybe you can admit you don’t know it and you might want to know it so that you can come to the light of God through Jesus.

1.) So what is the Way? We know that it will reveal Jesus in our Faith even though we can not see him.

2.) We know that it reveals the light of the Father to us, and the house thereof. (yes! Consider the words of Jesus who said that in his Fathers house there are many rooms, and he goes to prepare a place for us….this could very well mean that with what ever diligence you use to walk in the ‘Way’ you could possibly be building up your house in heaven.)

3.) And finally, we know that the ‘Way’ we walk is also the way we Worship God.

Luke 10:22

“All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”NIV

Then: John 17:25-26 says;

“Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love,(Agape), you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”NIV

I John 1:5

“God is light.”NIV

I John 2:6

“God is Love.”NIV

And Galatians 5:6 says:

“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is Faith expressing itself through Love.”NIV

Faith is acknowledged!!!

So, when we say, ‘I believe by faith.’ what we are really saying is: I believe in Jesus by the Love of God he reveals to me.
This is given validity in II Peter 1:3-11 READ IT!!!

How is God’s love revealed to us? In a nut shell- by choosing to submit to the loving alternative to our sins desire for reward.

Remember! This is God’s AGAPE Love that we are finding as the spiritually revealed alternative to the reasons for our sin! We find it, submit to it, and become transformed by it.

Romans 12:1-3

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will. For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.” NIV

For ‘pattern of this world’ READ ‘ways’ of this world.

What causes sin? Or as written in the Bible:

“What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet, but you can not have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.” James 4:1-3 NIV

And Jesus tells us:

“…but as they,(we), go on their ‘way’ they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. Luke 8:5-15NIV

…to name three causes for our immaturity. Pick one, two or all three as problem areas in yOur life.

Can you see it?! It takes some time if you have been given the wrong doctrine teachings of the worlds churches. In fact if you are new to the Bible it will be easier to see and accept. As most ALL church doctrine believers will disregard it and quickly revert back to the teaching from your churches…practicing the Ten Commandments, or a Sabbath Days Rest, or one of the cultic churches such as Jehovah’s Witnesses or The Unification Church, or others.
And there you have it, the “Way” as taught in the early church history before it was closed to us by God for His reasons, only to be again revealed in these End-Times we are in. Simply, Walk in the way of the world and you are a sinner with no escape. Or you can Walk in the “Way” of Truth in Love, and you walk in Jesus and know God The Father through Him. No matter that we still sin, we only have an incomplete measure of faith given to us; yet our Hope is founded in that,

“Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I AM fully known.” I Cor. 13:12 NIV

God Speed,
In Him,
