This a press release to Mr. Wommack of  http://www.awmi.net. It is given in a teaching, and gentle rebuking so that the hoped for results will be realized in Mr. Wommacks life in Jesus. Made public to show importance. Not to be thought lightly of. J.J.

Mr. Andrew Wommack,

I enjoyed your show yesterday and through your teaching I begin to understand you better. And  I agree with your statement that other ‘churches’ start making life harder for you now that you are saved ..etc. etc.

I also agree with your expressing of the nuances to the truths being given in the Bible. It’s a known fact that the bible says one thing but paints a different understanding to the words spoken to the ‘discerning’; of either the prophet or those that love (agape) God. That’s because we have not accepted false teachings of those that so use the Bible to preach their warped message.

But if I were to pass that true judgment on to them, I would have to pass the same judgment on you.

Yes. You who refuse to acknowledge that The Holy Spirit of God Gives gifts as he determines to the chosen of God, and make it a lie when you say we are not gifted in the spirit if we don’t speak in tongues.

Do you also interpret tongues? If you did you wouldn’t have said what you said yesterday when you said that all we have to do is come to the Lord in faith and trust, and accept his being The Lord, as shown in Romans 10:9kjv

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

But put in verse 10 and we see this:

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Tell me does coming to the Lord in faith and trust sound like a confession?

Yes, I can believe that the preacher who talked to you clearly portrayed that all you need do is see the truth that you were  born in sin and that Jesus died  and rose for you so that you can escape the wrath through God; and now that you are of the Lord’s family how much more does he not love you and want to give you all things.

That’s why I said that I can understand you better now. I can see that this book of Romans is so full of the ‘Hidden Wisdom’ for you, I can see it’s possible that you could have come to the realization that it wasn’t your fault for being a sinner, and that while you were yet a sinner without a clue who Jesus was you were declared righteous apart from the law.

But when you were finally given the insight of the exact words that are prerequisite for salvation, I can see how faith and trust can get you born again. But Again, tell me when you confessed unto salvation, did you think to consider that the sin nature and the sin you were given to commit was being included in your confession. Did you accept the responsibility for doing the sin in your life, or did you say, I’m glad I didn’t do any sin for my own pleasure, worry or richness; so please forgive me for being on the wrong side, and now that I know Jesus, I want to serve him.

This is important because you have studiously avoided mentioning the need for personal repentance in our confession. I will give you the benefit of doubt and assume that you DID in fact feel your own grimy spirit and loathed it so much that the belief in Jesus and to serving him instead of the anti-Christ, became a heartfelt ‘good’ confession.

A ‘good’ confession meaning that according to Jer. 17:10…

“I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”

And your witness was the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. But the honeymoon you talk about that the ‘other’ churches teach; you wrongly say that the honeymoon ends when they begin trying to be perfect for the Lord. Truth is the honeymoon is over the moment the ‘old man’ reappears back on the thinking scene. And we are all going to come back to the ‘old man’ way of thinking at some point in the honeymoon.

However, a person can achieve the knowledge of God’s Righteousness in the walking in the ‘Way’ of Jesus, and thereby know the love of God through Jesus, once again. Having put off the old man and putting on the new man in Christ in an increasing measure of Love (Agape).

And this is where your expression of all you need is faith and trust finds fault. Because without the “personal Repentance” it is not only an empty confession unto salvation, it is also awry of the teaching of the doctrine of Jesus called the “Way”.

“How then shall ‘they’ call on him in whom they have not believed?” As a question posed in Romans 10:14kjv  this must be addressed. When Jesus came into Galilee, after John was imprisoned, he came preaching:

“and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Mark 1:14kjv

Repentance. The only thing in the Bible given link to the foundation we have in Jesus. (See First Corinthians 3:10-15kjv) Then, ( see Hebrews 6:1kjv)

“THEREFORE leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God.”

Repentance in the old testament Bible was metanoia, meaning:  to turn away from your sin and turn to God and you be forgiven your sins for the yearning desires; but in the new testament the word for repentance is changed to metanoeo; meaning:  to reconsider ones sins from the divine viewpoint of thought, will, and emotion, then choose to walk in the divine way.(Also known as the Way of Jesus; and endorsed by Isaiah when he refused to step off the Way when he was told by the unbelievers, “Leave the Way!’ Get off the path! Let us hear no more about the Holy One of Israel!”

It’s a prophetic certainty that the teachers of the Way are going to be released to the public to tell the people “This is the Way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” Isa.30:20-26

That little .. ‘There’s things you do to …work on staying faithful.’ you mention as a sub-text to the more important belief that if Christ died for us as a sinner, out of the Love God has for us, how much more will he bless you as his own family in Christ. YOU miss the whole point of repentance. It is much more than salvation, it’s transformation into his image, as we become one with him. Through our continuing repentance from the sins that so easily beset us.

As we walk in the Way of  Repentance, we will be given ‘spiritual-rememberances’ in the Word of God. As these “remembrances”–

The disciples were assured by Jesus that …“the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” (John 14:23-26niv)

As we stand assured in our faith it is described as:  “For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availed anything, nor UN-circumcision; but faith which worketh by love.” Gal. 5:5,6kjv

Thus our link to the foundation of Jesus by our Repentance is now seen to also be our link to knowing the Love of the Father. And so it is also the Way of Love. (Agape)

In the Second book of Peter 1:3-11 we see the progressiveness of the walk in faith, starting with all diligengence to ‘add to your faith virtue; And to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance;and to temperance patience; And to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.” And Charity is Love, my Friend.

But how did you get there? Well first you arrived there in spirit and form but after the honeymoon is over the only thing that will bring you back into the Love again is Your continuing repentance. Short of being risen from the dead. Fulfilled as you walk in the Way of Jesus, the way of Love, and the way of repentance all are to be one through Jesus.

I find it quite natural that for ease of simplicity to avail ourselves with a work of repentance that is first reached through blind faith and trust that was heart felt as seen by God to grant us the Holy Spirit. And then as we continue in our repentance, to grow in the knowledge of God’s righteousness, found in the Mind of Christ that we come to understand in our experiences through life’s walk, by our “remembrances” found, submitted to, and transformed by in our determinedly walking in the Way, or determinedly chosen to be ignorant of, simply because you don’t know of the teaching of how to walk in the Way; in its fullness to be able to teach correctly .. “Repent and Believe the gospel.”

Please consider these words as a word from a brother in Christ whom has been fruitful in the gift of prophecy. The Hidden Wisdom that is revealed to prophets and those who Love (Agape) God. I’m sure you will see it if you will.

In Him,
J.J.
