“It is only when we carefully cultivate our own faith in God and experience his promised love in our lives, that we can and will be able to better withstand any of the difficulties that can daily beset us. This may be a hard concept to understand…”

No, Chappy, actually when you walk in the Way you will see that this ‘idealized’ conclusion is easy to understand!

I am so down on preachers that waffle in their faith so much that they don’t even know the Way of faith, and actually ‘AFTER’ they give the standard church doctrine, as seen in the first paragraph; they continue on and contradict it with their teachings.

In this article by ‘Chappy Ron Ringo’ in the ‘Military Press’ San Diego, entitled: ‘How do we find Hope’ Chappy says, “In (this) variety of experience, there has been one thing that I have seen cheat the despair and pain of difficult times. It is caring and serving someone other than oneself.”

He then goes on to say: “As we develop this kind of hope, it will Abide in our lives and we will experience that joy that endures in spite of daily struggles.”

Well, Chappy…you have succeeded in chapping my hide! Listen!!! Jesus says that if we abide in him he will abide in us and our joy will be complete. And in the book of Galatians verse 5:6 says,

“But by faith we eagerly await through the spirit of righteousness for which we hope, for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor un-circumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” niv

The caring for others, as you have witnessed, is able to overcome a world of despair, but only as it is reminiscent of the love of God! But make no mistake; it is NOT the love of God! And any temporary joy is given only to show you the lasting benefit of knowing God’s Agape love. And the permanent Joy in Christ Jesus, for … “Now we know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I AM fully known.”niv

Like any blind leader leading the blind, you will both fall into a hole. The bible clearly says that the love of many will grow cold. It grows cold because you haven’t found the ‘part’ and are not loving in God’s Agape love, but rather you are loving ‘as best as you know how.’ relating all of your love to the loves you have known: Eros, phileo, storgee, epithermia…BUT NOT AGAPE!!!

This love comes from God only as we find it and submit to it and transform our lives through it. And in that love are we able to lead or help our fellow being.

In that love will joy be manifested to our feeling. Does the Bible say, walk the good fight care for others? No! but by your blindness of teaching you, Chappy, have given the following verse meaning…Galatians 5:7,8…

“you were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you.”niv

There are a lot of false teachers trying to teach us to love one another by way of blind action simulating God’s love, and thereby rejecting the true purpose of learning to know God’s real Agape Love. Whereby we can truly give care in God’s love.

In Him,

J.J.
